True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle 1-30-07

1. Was Charlotte happy to be on the Seahawk? Why or why not?

2. What did Zaacharia give Charlotte? Where did she put it?

3. Why was Charlotte comforted by the captain?

4. When Charlotte tried to give Zachariah back the "dirk" how did he try and explain why they should be friends and what did he tell her about why she should keep it?

5. Who do you think put the head carving there when Charlotte was getting things out of her trunk? Why?

1. charlotte was NOT happy to be on the seahawk because they other family wasn't there.

2. Zacharia gave charlotte a dirk. she put it under her bed.

3. charlotte was conferted by the captian because he reminded her of her father.

4. zacharia wanted her to keep the dirk because she might need to defend herself from the captin.

5. i think that zacharia put the carving there to warn her.

-charlotte was not happy to be on the seahawk because her family was not with her and she did not know anyone on the ship
-zacharia gave her a dirk then she put in under her bed.
-charlotte was conferted by the captian because the captian looked alot like her father.
- he said that he wanted her to have it to keep her safe.And defend her self from the captian.
-I think that the captian put the carving there because he wanted to scare her and maybe to warn her from something.

1.When charollote got on the seahaawk she was not very pleased so instead she got on anyway and was very unhappy.
2.Charlotte got a dirk which is a knife and she put it in her pocket.

3.Because he was taking care of her and she was trying to get comfortable but captain jaggery was always talking to her.

4. The reason why she tried to give back the dirk is because she thought she did not need but Zachariah told her to keep it to keep her self protected

5.Hollybrass is the one who put the carving when she went to get her stuff from her suitcase and so he probably thought it was funny to frighten her.
