nothing but the truth
1. the main characters in the book are phillip, miss narwin, phillips family.
2. in this book phillip malloy is a ninth grader in miss narwins homeroom class. in teh morning when teh star spangled banner got played over the intercom it says that you have to stand in silence. but phillip didnt. he woul dhum the national anhtem as it was played. when he did this miss narwin asked himn to stop and when he didnt stop wshe sent him to the office to see the assistant principle. eh told phillip that he needs to follow the rules and that was it. the next day when he nummed the national anthem again he still woulo dnot stop when miss narwin asked him to so he went to the office again. mr. palleni tol dhim that he was suspended for disrupting the class twice. phillips mom a=came and got him and brought him home. now phillip- hates miss narwin even more. he thinks that she doesnt like him and thats why he isnt getting good gradesw in her english class. because he isnt getting a good grade he cant try out for the school track team. when phillip tell shis father what happened at school they go to there neighbor, who is running fo rthe board of education. when they get to there neighbors he is talking to a reporter so phillip tell sher the hole story. the next day there is an article in the news paper about what happende. then its on a radio talk show adn people all over teh country ar efinding out about phillip. miss narwin is getting a bunch of telegrams from poeple saying that she is a bad teacher. in th eend phillip switches schoools. at his new school his teacher asks him if he wants to start the singing of the nationla anthem but he cries because he doesnt know the words to it.
3.th eproblem is phillip likes to humm the national anthem in the morning at shcool when it is pplayed but there is a rule that says you have to be silent while it is p[layed. when phillip get s in trouble twice he gets suspended.
4. the problem was fixed by phillip talking to his naighbor who is running for the board of educatuiona dan a reporter. then everyone starts believing phillipos story . in the end phillip just switches schools .
5. i think that teh tgheme i sstand up for what you believe in because when phillip wanted to hum the national anthem and he couldnt he fought for what he thought was the right thing. because being patriotic wa simportant to him.
6. i can connect because befor ewhen i thought something was right i stoo dup for that and not for what my friend thought was right because thats not what i believed in.

1. The main character in the book was Fylip Malloy. Then there was a whole bunch of other people like his mum and dad and Allison who really weren't important.
2. Fylip Malloy is one pf his schools best runners and he cant wait to try out for the track team. But before tryouts the coach talks to Fyil and says if his grades dont improve in English than he can't be on the track team. Being on the track team is something that Phil has always wanted to do so he get all mad at his English teacher for failing. Him now that he is having an off day he starts to hum the national anthem. The teacher gets mad at him and sends him out of the room this happens two days in a row and Fylipe gets suspended. Fylipe and his father aren't very happy that the skewl suspended him a aeiouuuuuu ueioua for patriosm so the went to a news repoter and soon the whole contry knew about Fylipes story and in the end his lie didn't do him any good because he didn't even know the words.
3. The problem was that Fylipe got suspended for humming the national anthem and he wasn't happy.

5. I think that the theme was control your anger and think before you speak because Fylipe was mad because his teacher wasnt giving him a passing grade he got his story twisted and he said thingsd he didn't need to say.

1. Ms. Narwin, Philip Malloy, Dr. gertrude doane, mrs. harland, ted griffon, and philips parents.
2.this book is about philip malloy. He is a 9th grader at harrison high school. he is good at track but cant even try out because he got a bad grade in english class. then in the second week of school they changed the homeroom classes and philip ended up in ms. narwins class. in this other homeroom class he was used to being able to hum the national anthem, but when he joined ms.narwins class she told him to stop humming it and he did. but that night he told his parents about it and they told him to stand up for him self. so the next day at school he started humming the national anthem again and ns.narwin sent him out and he did the same thing the next day and then he gopt suspended for it. then every one got mad at ms.narwin. and he ends up transfering to a different school and ms.narwin had to stop teaching for that year.

1.Fabrizio, Mangus, Scarazoni, queen, Teresina and king.
2.In this book there is a ghost that every one thinks that it is Teresina brother. The king wants Mangus to free the ghost because he thinks that Mangus in music. At the end of this book the ghost is just a trick to get Scarazoni to tell that he said to kill Teresina brother and he wanted to be king.
3. The problem is the ghost.
4.They solved it bey going in the passage way and fond a trick to make it look like a ghost.
5.The theme is keep trying and you can succeed because they made scarzoni to tell them the truth about the brother.
6. I can connect to the theme is because I made my sister tell the truth about some thing and i win.

3. the problem was that philip was suspended for humming the national anthem in the morning.
4. ms.narwin stopped teaching for the rest of that year and philip changed schools.
5. the theme was stand up for what you belive in. because philip kept humming the national anthem even though ms.narwin sent him out of the room for doing it.

the main charachter was philip malloy
In the book phil is a real good runner and is going to try out fior the team but gets suspended for singing the njational anthem then every one finds out a bout it and is calling them and asking for them to get rid of the teacher so they have a better school. then the election comes along and they get new boards members but phil wen t to a different school and the teacher resigns her job.
the problem was that philip malloy got suspended for singing the national anthem.
the problem was fixed by it getting reported and phil moving to different skool.
the theme was stand up for what you believe in because phil stood up for what he believed in and the teacher had to resign.
i can conect to the theme from whenm my brother was going to go to a place i told him not to and said it was a bad thing.

1. In the book Midnight magic ther were a lot of character but the main character's were Fabrizio, Mangus, Prenices Tericeena, Count Scarazoni, and Queen Jovanna and all of them are very imporant.
2. In the book there is a ghost who Fabrizio see's and then he tells his master how is Mangus. Mangus was sent to free the kings daughter from the ghost and if Mangus falis this mission he will face death. Later on in the book Fabrizio heard that Antteo died and then he heard from Count Scrionano killed him and then he cought Fabrizio and then Fabrizio found him slef in a screat door.
3. The problem was that there was a ghost and he was terurasing the town.
4. Later in the book the ghost was stoped.
5. The theme of the book is keep tryiing and you will sugseed because they made sazroina tell the trueth about the brother and how he died.

The main characters were Phillip Malloy,Miss Narwin, Mr. and Mrs. Malloy, and other people
Phillip attended Harrison Highschool and the ninth graders got there homeroom teachers changed. Phillp got the teacher Miss Narwin. Miss Narwin was his English teacher and on there first or second quarter test thing he got a D and failed english. Phillip then could not be on the track team and then Phillip hates miss narwin. Miss Narwin always followed the rules and the school rule was no singing the national anthem. Phillip got suspenededed. He later told his father who told him to go tell there next door neighbor who was running for school board and he just happened to have a reporter at his house so phillip told the reporter what happened and then it was spread around and then the teachers were getting called up so other reporters could ask questions. It was all over the news and talkshows. In the end he went to another school and the teacher asked him to join in singing the national anthem and he didn't know the words.
The problem was that phillip sang the national anthem when he was told not to.

1.The main characters are Charlotte Doyle and Zachariah,Mr.Hollybrass,
Captain Jaggery.
2.In the begining of the book charlotte did not feel happy about going on the seahawk. They were heading for America when she got on the ship.The year was 1832 in england,France.Her chaperon was Mr. grummage and then she had to meet the captain was captain jaggery.She had met the crew after she had met the captain.In the middle of the book she was at the 45th day and they were close to America and she was in the middle of a storm and they had lost and man going overboard. When it was close towards the end of the voyage and then towards the end they had to try her on the ship because they were balming her for zachariah's death and mr.hollybrass's death too because they thought she might have killed them on the ship with her dirk when she ahd been sleeping for four days and never wokeup.
3. Captain Jaggery had blamed Charlotte for killing two crewman.

5- I think that the theme is gointg on a journey and fells like forever and in the same place as where you had started. I think that this is the theme because charlotte fells like there trip is taking forever and there is alot of stuff going on the ship which she does not like what is going on and ship this is what I think about the theme and about it.
